About USH
University Student Housing, LLC (USH), a division of the WCU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, manages four high-end community’s located on the West Chester University (WCU) campus. There are three residence halls – Allegheny Hall, Brandywine Hall, and University Hall and one garden-style apartment community, The Village. Together, the four communities house more than 2000 students.
USH is responsible for the day-to-day management of the communities, including signing up and assigning students, as well as all facility-related issues. Residents sign actual lease agreements and are billed separately by USH. The Residence Life staff for each community handles all student-related issues and is hired and managed by WCU. All USH communities are patrolled and monitored by WCU Public Safety.
